Personal Films

In addition to my personal films, I've made many other animated works - both for myself and for clients. Check out my demo reel below, and head downward for extra material.

Storyboards (2016 - Present)

Before the actual process of animation, the storyboard provides the clearest look into what a film's content will end up being. Sort of like a series of comic panels, the storyboard will showcase what the film's story, staging, cutting and more at its earliest form.

GIFs (2021 - Present)

There are many ideas that I want to translate through animation, but don't necessitate the length and depth of a full short film. Thus, many of these ideas become GIFs! I love to see small, seemingly insignificant moments play out - there's a beauty and hilarity in the mundane that mainstream animation rarely tries to convey. Not only are they great venue for small ideas, but they're great in keeping my skills sharp in between major works. All GIF's were crafted by myself using ToonBoom Harmony, After Effects, and occasionally other programs and materials (Photoshop, Procreate, Pencil & Paper, etc.) Also, try and keep the sound on. It helps.

where you are (2019)

As a part of a team for a classwork assignment, where you are is the music video for NOVA One's song of the same name. Along with everyone else, I acted as the head color stylist and background artist, and uncredited as co-editor, co-director and co-storyboard artist (I boarded just about the entire first minute).

In addition to this, I brought this class assignment to the attention of the band themselves, who have since adopted it as the song's official music video.

Lyd in Exile (2016)

In early 2016, I was selected by Annie-nominated animator and filmmaker Javier Barboza to intern for him, providing work for the animation in the upcoming documentary, Lyd in Exile.

My work consisted of providing short animated cycles in Photoshop and assisting other animators in their sequences.
